Don't forget if you want to get a newer practice board for home ? We have a limited amount of boards that we will be selling boards at the mid-season tournament for $10.00 each .

Please remember to rotate you dart boards every two weeks , at least 2 spots .

Is your league board seen better days and need replacement bring old board to mid-season for replacement . Make sure to contact us using the contact form on website before monday 10-24-2016 so we can bring you replacement

Rule of the week 10-11-2016

Cork’s Choice
1) The winner of the throw for the bull (cork) chooses the game to be played in that leg and throws first. The choice must be clearly announced to the opponent and the chalker BEFORE play begins
2) The choice is limited to 301, 401 (doubles only), 501 or Cricket.
3) Cork’s choice is Rochester Format; the same game cannot be called in consecutive legs.

GVDA ADO Cricket Qualifier Results

Awesome day of darts on Saturday for the GVDA ADO Cricket qualifier!!

This was a free qualifier for GVDA members. Everyone agreed to put in extra $10 and with the GVDA kicking in the other $30 we are sending 2 players to the National/Regional Qualifier on November 5th at Quigley's in Albany.

Robert Stewart took first with 20 points only losing 1 leg all day.

Dale LaFrance took second and had 3 nine counts for the day.

Issac Robinson took 3rd and had 1 nine count and a 12-dart game.

There was a tie for 4th between Reggie Rollo and Dan Cota - tie breaker went to Reggie.

Congratulations to Robert and Dale and to all the shooters who came out!

UPDATED START TIME FOR ADO QUALIFEIR ON 10/8

Last ADO qualifier of 2016 is at Sunset Lanes on October 8th. 

PLEASE NOTE TIME CHANGE..Sign-in at noon; play starts at 12:30. Looking to have a separate ladies bracket if we get enough interest or us ladies can play with the men as well!

This one is all cricket! Round Robin format - play all 3 legs - one bracket unless we have over 12 people.

FREE to all GVDA members in good standing. Not a member yet? You can be! For $15 you can be a general member and play this qualifier plus the mid-season tournament. Dues must be paid prior to the mid-season and/or qualifier.

Winner(s) move on to the Regional NovemBer 5th at Quigley's in Albany.

Rule of the Week 10-03-2016

401 (A doubles game only)
1) EACH player must begin with a double. All scores made by a team are subtracted from a starting score of 401. One player on a team may double in and continue to shoot for score even though their partner has not doubled in. A leg ends in the same manner as 301 The “bust” rule applies. The first team to end the leg are the winners.
2) A player may double in and out on the same dart. If a player doubles in and “busts” in the same turn , that player is not in and must double in again. If a player doubles in and “busts” on the same dart, that ends the player’s turn and that player is not in.
