 The fall mid-season blind draw is coming up next week on Tuesday the 22nd at Sunset Lanes.

Sign-up at 7 pm; darts fly at 7:30. All GVDA players are welome to shoot - $5 entry fee with 100% payout PLUS $120 added in.

GVDA Fall Season

Season sign-up is on September 3rd beginning at 7pm. If you're interested in shooting steel tip darts, this is a great chance to come on down to Sunset Lanes and talk to fellow players and see what it's all about - and perhaps there's a spot available on a team for you to join in the league this Fall.

Blind Draw sign up starts at 7pm with first round matches beginning just after a 7:30pm close. Open to all GVDA players in good standing $5 entry few plus $240 added in!! 100% payout! Format determined by the number of people.

Summer Season Sign-up and Blind Draw

Summer Season Sign-up and blind Draw is the 14th at California Bew Haus. Sign-up for both starts around 6:45 with the draw starting at 7:30.

Get your teams together!!! You can find rosters at thegvda.org or we will have some at sign-up.

Blind Draw is open to GVDA players in good standing and is $5. 100% payout with $120 added in. Format will be based on turn out.

Resuts from the Spring Blind Draw

 A lot of great darts were thrown last night!!!

We also ran a raffle and mystery out to raise money for the family of David M McCrary who spent many years playing and supporting darts in the Rochester area. We are very proud to say we were able to give the McCrary family $355 dollars. Kudos to Joe Fox who hit the mystery out of 121 and donated his winnings back to the McCrary family.

GVDA SPRING BLIND DRAW

 The GVDA Spring Bilnd Draw is Tuesday April 30th at Sunset Lanes!!

Open to ALL dart players! $5 for GVDA members and $10 for non-GVDA members. Sign-in starts around 6:45 and the draw will begin at 7:30. Single or double elimination will be based on the turnout. 

100% payout plus $240 added in :)

We will be holding a raffle(s) with proceeds going towards a donation in the memory of Dave McCrary.

David McCrary

Very sad news for us all as we report that Dave McCrary passed away on Sunday.

Dave was a life member of the GVDA. He has served local darts for many years as player, captain, director, chalker, supporter, blogger and a notorious and committed shooter of the wedge. 

Outside of darts he was a kind and generous man and the thoughts, prayers and hearts of so many will be with his family, especially Scott and Lea who are both longtime members of the GVDA community.

We are using Dart Conenct for Metro this season. It is optional for Division A. We will be going with Dart Connect for all divisions in the Fall.

ANNUAL SIGN-UP AND BLIND DRAW

The 2024 GVDA Annual/Winter Season Sign-up and Blind Draw is Tuesday January 9th at Sunset Lanes. Sign-up for both the Winter Season and Blind Draw starts at 6:45 pm.

Annual dues are $30. Winter season tavern fee is $60. If you do not have a team and wish to be a general member the fee is $30 - this makes you eligible to play in the sign-up and mid-season tournaments and all the ADO qualifiers. We do have people looking for teams!!!! California Brew Haus is lookin for teams!

If you can't make it to the tournament and wish to be a General Member you can send your dues to Amy via PayPal at amydebruyne180@gmail.com or Venmo to @Amy-DeBruyne.

We will be using dart Connect for Metro and A divisions for the Winter Season - cost is $20 per team due at sign-up.

Sign-up tournament will be blind draw and is $5 to enter. Double elimination-format deterined by turnout; 100% payout plus $240 added into the prize pot. 

Winter season will start on 1/16/23.
