Summer Mid-season Blind Draw tournament is 6/26/18

Summer midseason blind draw tournament is tomorrow  (6/26/18) at McGinnity's.

7 pm sign-up; 7:30 start. Open to all GVDA members in good standing! $5 to play; format (single or double elimination) determined based on turnout. 100% + payout.

Not a GVDA member yet? No problem!! $15 for the rest of the year and you can play tomorrow as well as in the Fall sign-up tournament, fall mid-season blind draw and the remaining ADO events.

501 Long Format Matchplay tournament June 23rd

First event like this!! Being run by Dan Kane. The GVDA is not running this, but definitely supporting it!!

501 Singles-Matchplay. First 3 games to determine your PPD then you will be seeded. Early rounds are a race to 2 sets (best of 5 legs per set); quarter and semi-finals a race to 3 sets and the finals are a race to 4 sets.

$50 to play.

You can pre-pay via PayPal and guarantee your spot:  amydebruyne180@gmail.com (send money to family/friends to avoid the fee) or walk-ins are being accepted until 12 pm on Saturday the 23rd. Qualifying games start at 12:30. Limited to 32 people.

GVDA Board meeting has been moved

The Gvda board meeting has been moved from June 16th 2018 to June 21st 2018 still at Mcginnity's on West Ridge Road. Meeting starts around 7:00pm . All members are welcome to come out and give suggestions .

ADO Qualifier and Ladies State Team Qualifier

Two steel tip qualifiers coming up this weekend!

Saturday June 9th at Sunset. 11:30 sign in, play at noon.

ADO 501 Singles Championship qualifier. FREE to all GVDA members in good standing. We will be sending the top 2 point winners to the Regional to be held in Rochester on October 6th. All 501, play all legs.

Ladies State Team qualifier. FREE to all ladies interested in playing to make the NY Tough team. NY is playing in NJ this year. This is one of 2 qualifiers happening on Saturday..the other is in NYC. Both will be all 501, play all 3 legs. We will be using DartConnect and the top 10 PPD (point per dart) average will make the team.

The next FREE local ADO qualifier is this Sunday 5/20 at Sunset Lanes. 11:30 sign-up with a noon start. We are sending the top 2 point finishers to the Regional on July 14th in Syracuse

REMINDER!

Summer Season Sign-up and Blind Draw tournament is coming up on May 15th at McGinnity's on Ridge Rd. We have players looking for a team for the summer season and teams looking for players.

Even if your regular team isn't playing we can help you get set you up with a team for the summer season.

Come out on Tuesday the 15th and talk to any board member. If you can't make it Tuesday send the league an email and we will do our best to pair you up.

Dues for the summer season only is $5.

Steel-tip Blind Draw Tournament open to ALL dart shooters (GVDA membership NOT required)

May 1, 2018 at Sunset Lanes. Sign up begins at 6:30 pm with play starting at 7:30 pm. $5 per player; format to be determined by turn-out.

100% payout plus the GVDA is adding $100. We also have an anonymous sponsor who will put in $5 per person for every entry over 20.
