The Rochester Open is Next Weekend! April 10-11
Returning for the 4th consecutive year, the Rochester Open Steel Tip Dart Tournament will be held at Sunset Lanes Friday April 10th and. Saturday April 11th 2014. Details at open.thegvda.org

ADO Qualifier this Sunday 3/8/15
ADO qualifier for the Winmau Masters is this Sunday March 8th!!
Regional to be held March 21st at the PACC in Syracuse. National Final will be in Cleveland, OH May 1st. Cleveland Extravaganza ($15,000+) to be held May 1st-3rd.
Round Robin - 501. Format to be determined by number of entries. FREE to all GVDA members in good standing. Not a GVDA member? You can become a general member for $30 and be eligible for all ADO events as well as the mid-season and sign-up tournaments in 2015. Must be a paid GVDA member on or before the qualifier.
Sunday March 8th. Sign-in at 11 am with play starting at 11:45.

AGM and Winter 2015 signup
Winter 2015 season signup and the Annual General Meeting of the GVDA will be taking place on Tuesday January 13th at Sunset Lanes, starting at 7pm.
Anybody interested in throwing steel tip darts is encouraged to attend to meet other league members, sign up or renew membership. We will be holding the usual blind draw tournament (100% of the $5 entry fees plus $240+ will be paid out to the top 4+ teams, depending on turnout).
To register a team for the season you'll need to bring a completed registration form or fill one out on the night. Please note that the sheet should be filled out as much as possible and at the very least full contact details for the captain is needed so that we can contact you quickly about any league issues that come up during the season. Please do not just write "same as last season" - thanks!!
Eligible voting members (current captains and board directors) should also attend to fill out the election ballots.

This will be a PAID qualifier and is open to any ADO member in good standing. Winner will advance to the Regional qualifier at the Pacc Syracuse on the following day (December 7th). Will be willing to run a woman's qualifier if we have enough interest. If not a current member of a league affiliated with the ADO, you can become a one time member for $15 (plus cost of event) payable before the event.
Sign in at 11 am with play to start at 11:30. There is a soft tip blind draw that night so use this as a warm up! Cost will be $25 per person for 1-5 players. If we get 6 or more it will be $20 per player. Format is round robin and how this is set up will be based on how many players.
WILL NEED 5 FIRM COMMITMENTS BY DECEMBER 4TH TO HOLD THIS.
Please let me know if you plan to commit to playing.

Board Nominations
It's that time of year again! We are looking for nominations for the board of directors to help with the running of the league. The only eligibility requirement is to be a current GVDA member in good standing.
We are looking for people who are interested in taking an active and committed role in promoting darts in the area and the running of the league. If you are interested and have questions, use the contact form on the website to submit questions under General/Membership.
